The building of Via Trieste 6 in Santa Margherita Ligure is located 70 metres away from the promenade and combines innovation, energy efficiency and living comfort. The building is spread over 5 aboveground floors and 2 underground floors intended for garages, technical premises and the main entrance.
High thermal and acoustic insulation are ensured through the use of products such as “Poroton” in the external walls and techniques such as “floating floors” in the foundations to eliminate noise caused by footsteps. All floors of the building have large loggias and balconies with sea views, paved in Persian Grey marble followed particularly by CibicWorkshop studio, the creative centre founded by the designer and architect Aldo Cibic, realised the idea of blending the building with the surrounding environment. Each open loggias have a self-supporting glass railing with sea-water backdrop.
A selection of materials with various finishes are the protagonists in the common areas: corten steel, split stone, concrete and glass.
